The Re:Con Center is an extension of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects’ San Francisco Transbay Terminal proposal. With the addition of outdoor public areas and multi-use buildings, the stadium provides a link between the new transportation center and its surrounding community. The hill-like envelopes carved out of the stadium also give back civic and park spaces to an area where their presence is diminishing. Completing the Transbay area, the stadium RECONnects the public with the built environment, workplaces, entertainment, and tranquil retreat.
