VIVACIOUS SHELF

This solid wood piece is bent and held together by locking joints without any glue. The curvy form was realized by soaking the wood until it became pliable, then clamping it in the desired position. After the wood pieces set we made the necessary cuts to create joints and assembled the shelf together. The client wanted a piece of furniture that was unique and not rigid-feeling.
